ByStorm Software is dedicated to providing IT organizations with low footprint, yet comprehensive file auditing, data loss protection, and company security compliance enabling alerting and reporting for the Microsoft Windows platform. We are committed to ensuring that our customers are empowered to meet PCI, HIPAA, NERC/CIP, NIST, SOX, and other security and compliance mandates.
Eight years and over 100 customers
ByStorm has been in the file security software business for over 8 years and has over 100 FileSure customers using the DLP product all day every day. These customers rave about FileSure and tell us they don't know how they survived before they found our file access auditing software.
Multiple file security products rolled together for one affordable price
You could purchase multiple data loss protection products from multiple vendors and still not have all of the capabilities you have in the FileSure File Auditing & Security Suite. Whether you need Windows file auditing, data loss protection, SharePoint file auditing, company security compliance, or even event log monitoring, FileSure can help.
Extends existing Microsoft Security model
Since FileSure operates outside of the native-Windows security model, it is able to audit file use and control and track file access based on your defined policy or rules. While you are not limited to the Windows ACL and user/group permission model, that still functions. FileSure extends this to simplify your life and provide additional granularity including the ability to audit or control access by process, not just user credentials.
Integrates and enhances existing event monitoring solutions
FileSure File Auditing Software includes the ability to scan the Windows event logs in real time and collect specific events you’ve identified and store those in the FileSure log, any Windows event log, or forward by Syslog. This is not the primary purpose of FileSure, but FileSure file security customers asked for it so we included it. Most customers like that FileSure can log to the Windows event logs and Syslog in addition to logging in its own encrypted/compressed log. This provides additional file access events for your existing event log collection utility to collect!
